He earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh before going on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

From there, his path led him to serve our country in the United States Army, where he completed his advanced orthodontic training at the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program at Wilford Hall Medical Center, located at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. This prestigious residency provided rigorous clinical training in the full spectrum of orthodontics—from early intervention and orthopedic appliances to surgical treatment planning for complex jaw discrepancies.

Dr. Cable’s experience spans over 25 years of combined orthodontic service, both in private practice and in military settings.

• 9 Years in the U.S. Army – Dr. Cable proudly served active-duty soldiers by providing high-level orthodontic and dental treatment. His military background instilled discipline, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset that still defines his approach today. He served as the Chief of Orthodontics at William Beaumont Army Medical Center where he was instrumental in starting an orthodontic practice for the Army at Ft Bliss, Texas.
